Our ability to advise clients effectively depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided to us. Clients are therefore expected to deal with Wayfound honestly and in good faith and to ensure that all information supplied to us is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
Co-operation
Clients are expected to cooperate fully with Wayfound in the handling of their legal and tax matters. This includes responding to reasonable requests for information, providing documentation when required, and engaging constructively with us throughout the course of the engagement.
Understanding
Wayfound recognises that legal and tax matters can often arise during stressful or complex circumstances. We are committed to listening carefully to our clients’ concerns and providing clear, practical guidance to assist them.
Responsiveness

Independence
In providing legal services, we must maintain our professional independence at all times. While we act in our clients’ best interests, we must also comply with our duties as officers of the Court and with our professional and regulatory obligations.
Behaviour and Professional Conduct
Wayfound understands that clients may occasionally be dealing with difficult or stressful circumstances. Being assertive, concerned, or determined when addressing a matter will not in itself be regarded as unacceptable behaviour.
However, behaviour that places unreasonable demands on Wayfound or that is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate towards our staff will not be tolerated.
Examples of behaviour that may be considered unacceptable include, but are not limited to:
- Written or verbal abuse directed at Wayfound or its staff
- Discriminatory comments or behaviour of any kind
- Serious or persistent harassment
- The use of aggressive, offensive, or abusive language
- Rude, derogatory, or demeaning remarks
- Inappropriate cultural, racial, or religious references
- Threatening behaviour or intimidation
- Possession or display of items that may reasonably be perceived as threatening or capable of causing harm
- Behaviour that causes staff to feel intimidated, distressed, or unsafe
- Actual or attempted physical assault
- Deliberate damage to property
- Publicly defaming Wayfound or its staff without proper basis
- Directing dissatisfaction with Wayfound at individual members of staff in an abusive manner
- Recording or engaging the media in relation to interactions with Wayfound without prior agreement
Response to Unacceptable Behaviour
Where unacceptable behaviour occurs, Wayfound reserves the right to take such action as it considers appropriate in order to protect its staff and maintain professional standards.
Such actions may include, where appropriate:
- Restricting the channels through which a client may communicate with Wayfound
- Limiting the form or frequency of communication
- Restricting access to Wayfound’s offices
- Suspending work on a matter pending investigation or clarification
- Terminating the professional relationship in accordance with applicable professional obligations
Our Commitment
